Based in Brighton & Hove, Christopher has worked in the survey and architectural industries for 10 years.
He studied in Building Studies/Architectural Technology for two years before being employed as a Measured Building Surveyor/CAD technician for Aworth Surveys, where he progressed to become Project Manager.
AutoCAD is second nature to him, and he is fully conversant with the full suite of applications. He is now self-employed, where his main income of work is Computer Aided Design for Building Survey and Architectural projects.
He is currently working freelance for a number of companies, in a number of sectors.
These include:
- A survey company which specializes in producing topographical and measured building surveys.
- An architectural practice where he has been involved in designing a new classroom block for a private school in Surrey, among other smaller projects (mainly residential).
- A multi-disciplinary practice, where he has recently worked in a number of retirement homes within the public sector, producing measured surveys of existing plans along with proposed alterations drawings for planning.
